To generate a work order, you first need to have the job schedule populated.

First, click the menu icon on the schedule item you want to start with for the work order, and then choose Generate Work Order

Inside the generate work order window, there are lots of options so that you can customise how you want the work order to be.

Include This is where you choose whether to only send a work order for the schedule item you select, all the schedule items for the provider, or all the schedule items for the whole job.

Job Contact This is the contact for the job that will show up on the work order for the provider to see. By default it's set to the Main job contact, but you could choose another (eg tenant)

Provider Next you choose the provider for the work order. This is who the work order is for.

Notes Any general notes for the work order. This is alongside any notes inside of the schedule items.

Attach files In here you can choose PDF files to join onto the end of the work order

Attach photos Here you can choose any photos to send with the work order. Tick the box, and then select any images you want to send.

Include price You can choose to show an agreed price on the work order. Tick the box and input here.

Save to job files If you check this box, it will save the work order to the files inside the job in Tradiemate. It will show up as a PDF file.

Send via email If you check this box, you can choose who to send the work order to and provide a custom message. It will send this directly from your Microsoft email account associated with you account, so once it has sent you will be able to see it in your sent items, and any replies will come directly into your inbox

When you're ready, click Send/Generate at the bottom, and your work order will be created.

You can see all the work orders for a job at the bottom of the Schedule window, as well as if they have been viewed by the recipient if you send via email.
