Importing a Contact from Xero

It's really easy to import an existing contact from Xero into Tradiemate.

First, navigate to the Contacts window from the main left navigation bar, and then choose Import in the top right corner.

You can choose to either import a single contact, or all the contacts in a Xero contact group.

Single Contact

In the Import Xero Contact window, choose a contact type. Then type in the name of the contact you would like to search for and click Find

Note: Because of the way Xero works, this search is case sensitive. It's best to copy the contact name directly from Xero to enable you to find a match quickly.

Once you have found a contact to import, make sure they are selected and then click Import.

Once the contact has imported, you will then be sent to the new contact page in Tradiemate.

Contact Groups

Match up each contact group you would like to import with a Tradiemate contact type.

Note: If a contact is in a contact group you're importing but it already exists in Tradiemate, it will not re-import, it will just be skipped.

When you're ready, click Import All. Do not close the page while this operation is happening, it may take few minutes, depending on how many contacts you are importing.
